Hyundai and Kia Achieve Best-Ever February Sales Performance in India-
South Korean automakers Hyundai Motor India and Kia India achieved their highest-ever February sales in India in 2026. While both brands reported strong growth, Hyundai sold nearly twice as many units as Kia during the month.
Hyundai has been present in the Indian market for nearly three decades with cars across multiple body styles, while Kia is a relatively newer brand but has quickly gained popularity, especially in the SUV segment. Recently, Kia also updated its bestselling compact SUV, the Kia Seltos.

Hyundai Motor India sold over 4,600 more units in February 2026 compared to the same month last year. The company also exported 13,727 vehicles, showing more than 12% growth in exports year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Kia India recorded over 2,500 additional unit sales compared with February 2025. The company claims this is its best-ever February performance since entering the Indian market.
