Moscow Adds 33 Lada e‑Largus EVs to Fleet as AvtoVAZ Delivers First Locally‑Battery‑Powered Vans

Authorities have purchased dozens of Lada e‑Largus electric vans; Mosgortrans has taken delivery of 33 vehicles.

Photos from the parking area at Moscow’s Northern River Terminal show the 33 e‑Largus vans acquired by Mosgortrans for city transport infrastructure duties.

Small‑scale production of the e‑Largus began in September 2024 at AvtoVAZ’s Lada plant in Izhevsk. In January 2026 the factory delivered 33 electric station wagons to Mosgortrans. AvtoVAZ markets the e‑Largus as Russia’s first EV with a highly localized domestic battery.

Key specs: the e‑Largus uses a 163‑hp electric motor and a 61‑kWh battery, with a claimed range of up to 420 km. Equipment highlights include a digital instrument cluster, multimedia system with Yandex services, a rotary gear selector, and Lada‑specific interior trim.

With government subsidies factored in, the expected retail price for the electric station wagon is around 3 million rubles.
