Annual FASTag Pass Charges: For those planning to buy a FASTag Annual Pass, this could be the right time. Because if someone buys an Annual Pass before April 1, 2026, they will be charged the current fee.
The National Highway Authority of India has announced an increase in the price of the FASTag Annual Pass, effective April 1, 2026. The FASTag Annual Pass currently costs ₹3,000, but it has now been increased to ₹3,075. This new price will be effective from the 2026–27 fiscal year. This new fee applies only to non-commercial vehicles, such as cars, jeeps, and vans. This facility applies to national highways and national expressways across the country.
It’s worth noting that the FASTag Annual Pass was first introduced on August 15, 2025. This reduced the need for frequent FASTag recharges. Today, over 5.6 million users are using this feature.
For those planning to purchase a FASTag Annual Pass, this could be a good time. If someone purchases an Annual Pass before April 1, 2026, they can still get the pass at the old fee of ₹3,000. This could save up to ₹75.
How to buy a FASTag Annual Pass online?

First, download the Rajmarg Yatra app from your mobile’s app store. Then, log in with your registered mobile number. After logging in, link your vehicle’s FASTag account to the app. Then, go to the FASTag Annual Pass section and select your vehicle. After payment, the pass will be activated on your FASTag within approximately two hours.
The pass can also be purchased from the NHAI website or from the official website of the National Highways Authority of India. To do this, you must log in to the website. Then, go to the FASTag Annual Pass section and enter your vehicle or FASTag information. Once the payment is complete, the Annual Pass will be activated on that FASTag.
