Lamborghini’s Leap: What’s Behind Its Record-Breaking Sales?
Italian luxury carmaker Automobili Lamborghini has achieved a new milestone. In 2025, the company delivered 10,747 cars globally, marking the third consecutive year in which its deliveries crossed the 10,000-unit mark.
The company’s revenue crossed ₹34,000 crore, reflecting a growth of 3.3 percent compared to 2024. Operating income stood at over ₹8,000 crore, with profitability reaching an impressive 24 percent.
Growth Despite Global Challenges
Lamborghini operated in a challenging macroeconomic environment, facing factors such as exchange rate fluctuations and US tariffs. Despite these hurdles, the company managed to sustain growth through a strong product mix and disciplined cost control strategies.
In 2025, models like the Lamborghini Revuelto and Lamborghini Urus SE played a key role in driving deliveries. The Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first V12 hybrid super sports car, marked the beginning of the brand’s electrification journey and received strong demand across global markets.
Urus Continues to Dominate
The Lamborghini Urus remained the company’s best-selling model in 2025, contributing to more than half of total sales. A major factor behind the strong revenue performance was the improved product mix.
Interestingly, 94 percent of all deliveries included Lamborghini’s customization program, Ad Personam, which significantly increased the value of each vehicle.
New Models and Future Plans
Deliveries of the Lamborghini Temerario began in early 2026. This model completes Lamborghini’s hybrid lineup and features a new V8 powertrain capable of reaching up to 10,000 rpm.
