Renault India has officially revealed the mileage figures of the new Duster. The SUV offers an ARAI-certified mileage of 18.45 kmpl for the DCT automatic variant and 17.75 kmpl for the manual variant.
The new Duster has gained significant attention since its launch, and with these fuel efficiency numbers, it strengthens its position further in the competitive SUV market. The mileage figures apply to the variants powered by the 1.3-litre Turbo TCe 160 petrol engine.
Engine Technology and Performance
Despite being one of the most powerful SUVs in its segment, the Renault Duster maintains impressive fuel efficiency. According to V. Vikraman, the TCe 160 turbo engine uses advanced technologies such as low-friction coating and high-pressure fuel injection.
This engine produces 163 PS of power and 280 Nm of peak torque, delivering strong performance while keeping fuel consumption under control. When paired with Renault’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), the SUV offers a balanced driving experience with both power and efficiency.
Price and Color Options
The new Renault Duster has been launched in India with a starting ex-showroom price of ₹10.49 lakh, going up to ₹18.69 lakh.
It competes with popular models like the Hyundai Creta and Tata Sierra in the midsize SUV segment. Renault is offering the Duster in six single-tone colors—Mountain Green, Red, Black, Silver, Blue, and White—along with four dual-tone options.
The entry-level variant comes with a 999 cc turbo petrol engine, producing 99 bhp power and 166 Nm torque, making it a practical choice for budget-conscious buyers.
