Now with a mixer: a four-axle construction truck
A new version of the KamAZ-65951, designed to carry a concrete mixer, has been assembled on the main production line of the Kama Automobile Plant.
The vehicle is built on the chassis of the KamAZ-65951 dump truck, which has been produced since 2023, but it now features a power take-off system from the engine to drive the mixing drum. The rear frame overhang has been extended to accommodate a 12-cubic-meter mixer.
The truck is equipped with a KamAZ R6 engine producing 460 hp. It has a chassis load capacity of 35 tons and an 8×4 wheel configuration. The prototype will be sent to the company’s scientific and technical center for testing.
In the future, this concrete mixer truck may be used at construction sites in Russia as well as in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan, expanding the capabilities of domestically produced construction equipment.
