Toyota bZ Woodland Gets $5,000 Discount Weeks After Launch in the US

Toyota is already offering up to $6,500 off the new bZ Woodland electric crossover in the US. Here’s pricing, finance offers, and how it compares to rivals.

The new Toyota bZ Woodland electric crossover has seen its price effectively drop by $5,000 just a couple of weeks after going on sale in the United States.

Official sales of the bZ Woodland in the US began recently, but Toyota is already rolling out aggressive incentives. The offers appear unusually generous for a completely new model.

The standard customer discount is $5,000. Buyers who choose to lease the vehicle can get an even bigger benefit of up to $6,500. In addition, customers with strong credit profiles can qualify for 0% APR financing for six years (72 months), along with a $3,500 cash rebate.

However, these promotional offers are temporary and are currently scheduled to run only until March 2, and there is no guarantee they will be extended.

Pricing Details

  • Starting price: $46,750

  • Premium trim: $48,850

Even after the $5,000 discount, the bZ Woodland remains more expensive than its direct rival, the Subaru Trailseeker, which starts at $39,995 without special conditions.

In this scenario, Toyota’s key advantages continue to be strong brand loyalty, a wider dealer network, and subtle design differences. Notably, the Toyota bZ Woodland and Subaru Trailseeker are closely related models marketed under different brands.

Bottom Line:
Toyota’s early discounts suggest the company is aggressively positioning the bZ Woodland in the competitive electric crossover segment, even if pricing still sits above some key rivals.
