The revived Volga has unveiled its new mid-size crossover, the Volga K40. The manufacturer states that the vehicle is built on a modern platform and comes equipped with a wide range of features designed to enhance both driver and passenger comfort.
Design and exterior
On the outside, the Volga K40 carries a design language similar to other models from the brand. It features sleek LED headlights, a large front grille, and sharp body lines. The crossover stands out with its elongated wheelbase and muscular stance, which also contributes to improved cabin and boot space.
Interior and features
Inside, the dashboard is ergonomically designed to keep all essential controls within easy reach. The SUV offers premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, heated and ventilated seats, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.

Engine and performance
The Volga K40 will be offered with two turbocharged engine options. The base variant gets a 1.5-litre engine producing 147 horsepower, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The higher variant comes with a 2.0-litre engine delivering 200 horsepower, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
The vehicle also offers sufficient ground clearance, making it suitable for both city driving and light off-road conditions.
Safety features
The K40 is equipped with multiple active and passive safety systems, including 360-degree cameras, traffic assistance features, and six airbags, ensuring enhanced safety for occupants.
Launch timeline and price
Sales of the Volga K40 are expected to begin in the summer of 2026. However, the company has not yet announced the official pricing details.
