Yandex Drive Adds Mercedes-Benz S-Class Sedans in Moscow Fleet for Premium Rentals

Yandex is upgrading its premium mobility offering by introducing Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedans to the Yandex Drive fleet in Moscow. Starting April 18, users can rent around 20 flagship luxury sedans, notably without traditional branding wraps—making them suitable for business meetings, formal events, and special occasions.

Access to these vehicles is restricted to experienced drivers aged 26 and above, with a minimum of six years of driving experience. Pricing begins at 30 rubles per minute, placing the S-Class in the premium tier of the platform’s offerings.

The addition aligns with Yandex Drive’s broader fleet expansion strategy. The service now operates more than 13,000 vehicles and continues to scale through partnerships with automakers. In 2025, collaboration with FAV-Eastern Europe added around 5,000 vehicles across Moscow and St. Petersburg, while newer models such as the Omoda S5 and Exeed have also been integrated into the Moscow fleet.

From a technology standpoint, all vehicles in the Yandex Drive ecosystem are equipped with telematics systems and extensive sensor arrays that monitor driving behavior. This data feeds into a driver rating system, with the company reporting that over 90% of users maintain safe driving standards.

Currently, Yandex Drive operates in 12 major Russian cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, and Yekaterinburg, continuing to position itself as a leading player in the region’s car-sharing market.
