Jetour T2 SUV Spotted Uncamouflaged in India: Launch Expected Around Diwali 2026

Ahead of its launch, the new SUV’s impressive looks have been revealed in a video, and it is set to rival the Safari and 7XO.

The Jetour T2 SUV is much awaited. It is expected to launch around Diwali. Ahead of the launch, the T2 has been spotted testing in India without any camouflage or cover. This short video shows the rear of the SUV.

JSW Motors has partnered with Chery to launch the Jetour T2 SUV in the Indian market. It is expected to launch around Diwali 2026. Ahead of the launch, the company released a teaser of its upcoming plug-in hybrid SUV as part of dealer partner recruitment. Now, the T2 has been spotted testing in India without any camouflage or cover. This short video shows the rear of the SUV, which is claimed to have been shot in Kerala.

The front and rear look amazing

This video was shared by an Instagram user named street_.torque. It shows the SUV’s upright design, vertical tail lamps, and piano-black elements. Additionally, it has vertical door handles, a high bumper, and a square, box-like element on the tailgate. The front end of the SUV features LED light strips that act as headlights. The bumper also features pixel-designed LED fog lamps, giving it a solid look. The car has a straight bonnet and a prominent bumper with pronounced wheel arches.

Robust steering wheel, 12-speaker Sony audio system, and touchscreen

The Jetour T2’s interior features a robust steering wheel, a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. It seats five occupants. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger for front passengers, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, power and ventilated front seats, and automatic climate control.

Powerful with 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS

Safety features include a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, hill start assist, and hill descent control. The international version of the Jetour T2 is available in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric (EV) variants. However, the Indian version is expected to come only in a hybrid configuration. The PHEV variant is powered by a 154 hp/220 Nm 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 26.7 kWh battery. It is available in single-motor front-wheel-drive or dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations. The battery has a NEDC-certified electric-only range of 139 km.

Will be assembled in Maharashtra

The company will assemble this upcoming SUV at its Maharashtra plant. Upon its launch in India, the Jetour T2 will compete with popular SUVs like the Mahindra XUV 7XO and Tata Safari.
