American company Archer Aviation has announced a strategic partnership with Starlink, the satellite internet division of SpaceX. Through this collaboration, Archer aims to deliver stable, reliable, and high-speed internet connectivity in its upcoming air taxi services. The move also signals Starlink’s entry into a new high-potential aviation mobility market.

Under the agreement, Starlink terminals will be installed on the Midnight electric aircraft and will undergo extensive testing. The connectivity will support not only passenger internet access but also real-time data exchange between aircraft, pilots, and ground engineering teams. This is expected to strengthen the reliability of the overall digital ecosystem and streamline fleet management.
Archer believes the Midnight air taxi could enable passengers to travel between cities in as little as 5 to 15 minutes, potentially transforming short-distance urban mobility.
