Next-Generation Hyundai i20 Interior Revealed, May Launch in 2027, No Major Mechanical Changes.
Hyundai’s next-generation i20 hatchback has been spotted testing, giving us a first glimpse of its interior. As expected, its design is similar to the new Venue, including a curved single-piece display, a new steering wheel, and a new center console. Door and seat components are also expected to be similar to the Venue.
Exterior-wise, the i20 retains the same overall design, but new front, rear, and wheel designs are seen, indicating a major update. Changes are visible both inside and out, but the engine is expected to remain unchanged. Depending on the market, it will be offered with a choice of three-cylinder GDi turbo petrol and four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engines, both with manual and automatic gearboxes.

The new i20 will be one of 30 models that Hyundai plans to bring to India by 2027, as announced at its Investor Day in 2025. India is a global production hub for the i20 series, and it is expected to be locally launched in India before heading to international markets.
