March 2026 car launches: Duster returns and luxury cars take over
After the impressive launch of the Maruti e Vitara and Tata Punch EV in February, March is set to be full of new models and major updates. Let’s find out which cars will be in focus:
1. Renault Duster: The return of a legend (March 17)
After a two-year wait, the Renault Duster is returning in a new avatar. It will be launched on March 17th, and deliveries are expected to begin in April.

Engine options: It will get a 1.0-litre turbo (100bhp) and a more powerful 1.3-litre turbo (163bhp) engine.

Hybrid Power: A 1.8-litre strong hybrid version will also be launched around Diwali , offering excellent mileage and a combined power of 160bhp.

Competition: It will compete directly with SUVs like Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara.
2. Audi SQ8: A blend of luxury and speed (March 17)
Audi is bringing its new SQ8 to fill the gap between the standard Q8 and the top-spec RS Q8.

Performance: It has a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which produces 507bhp of power.

Speed: The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds . Quattro all-wheel-drive system is standard.
3. Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella: Toyota’s first mass-market EV
Prices of the Toyota Ebella , based on the Maruti e Vitara, are also expected to be revealed this month.

Range: It will be available in two battery options – 49kWh (440km range) and 61kWh ( 543km range ).

Features: This will be Toyota’s first electric SUV in India, which will directly challenge the Tata Curve EV.
4. Skoda Kushaq Facelift: New features and new gearbox
Skoda is introducing new updates to its popular SUV Kushaq .

What’s new? It will add features like a panoramic sunroof , a massaging function for the rear seats, and rear disc brakes for improved safety.

Mechanical Updates: The 1.0-litre turbo engine will now get a new 8-speed torque-converter gearbox instead of the old automatic.
