Ducati Superbike: Ducati has unveiled its most advanced and lightest road-legal motorcycle to date — the Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario. Introduced to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary, this exclusive superbike comes with cutting-edge technology and a premium price tag of over ₹1.5 crore.
This model is essentially a road-legal racing machine, meaning it can be ridden on public roads while delivering track-level performance. Let’s take a closer look at its key highlights.
Extremely Lightweight Design
Superbikes are typically heavy, but the Superleggera V4 Centenario stands out with its incredibly lightweight construction. The bike weighs just 167 kg, making it around 22 kg lighter than the Ducati Panigale V4 R.
To achieve this, Ducati has extensively used carbon fiber in components such as the chassis, mudguards, tank cover, and seat base.

World’s First Carbon-Ceramic Brakes on a Road Bike
This is the first road-legal motorcycle in the world to feature a carbon-ceramic braking system—technology typically reserved for Formula 1 cars and high-end racing machines.
These brakes maintain performance even under extreme heat, ensuring consistent stopping power and enhanced safety at high speeds.
Advanced Suspension and Components
The bike is equipped with Öhlins NPX 25/30 carbon fork suspension, which provides excellent stability at high speeds and over uneven surfaces.
It also features a DID ERV7 chain, designed to handle extreme stress and deliver long-lasting durability under racing conditions.
Ultra-Limited Production
This superbike will be extremely rare. Ducati will produce only 500 units worldwide, along with 100 special Tricolore variants. Each motorcycle will feature a unique identification plate, enhancing its exclusivity.
Price and Delivery Details
The Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario is priced starting at $165,000 (approximately ₹1.52 crore). Buyers will also receive exclusive merchandise, including a limited-edition riding jacket and helmet.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
