Chinese automaker GAC Group has unveiled its first parallel hybrid SUV, the GAC T75, featuring an advanced “digital chassis.” The model is set to make its official debut at the Beijing Auto Show in late April.

The GAC T75 showcases a rugged and modern design, with an angular body, short overhangs, a flat roofline, large side mirrors, and semi-hidden door handles.

At the rear, the SUV features a tailgate-mounted full-size spare wheel, while plastic cladding around the wheel arches, darkened alloy wheels, and large headlights enhance its off-road appeal.

The T75 will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain along with a “digital chassis,” which likely includes advanced technologies such as steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire systems. It is also expected to feature an upgraded braking system, air suspension, and a LiDAR sensor, possibly supplied by Huawei.

The SUV has already undergone extreme cold-weather testing in Yakeshi, where it successfully climbed a 30% incline on snow, demonstrating strong off-road capability.
