Harley-Davidson Unveils RMCR Concept Bike With Powerful 1250cc Revolution Max Engine
Renowned motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has surprised bike enthusiasts by unveiling its new RMCR concept motorcycle. The “RM” in RMCR refers to the Revolution Max 1250 engine, the same powerful engine used in the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 adventure bike.
This concept bike is quite different from Harley-Davidson’s traditional cruiser-style motorcycles. Instead, it has been showcased as a future café racer, combining modern technology with a sporty design. The RMCR concept has quickly captured the attention of motorcycle lovers worldwide.
Sporty Design and Performance-Oriented Tires
Aggressive and Compact Design
Harley-Davidson has given the RMCR a sporty and muscular design. The bike features a compact frame with a forward-leaning stance, making it look aggressive and performance-focused on the road. The short rear section further enhances its café racer appearance.
High-Performance Tires and Footrests
The motorcycle is equipped with Michelin Power GP2 sport tires, designed to provide excellent grip at high speeds and during cornering.
To improve riding dynamics, the footrests are positioned slightly higher and towards the rear, allowing riders to lean the bike more while cornering and achieve better control.

Powerful 1250cc Revolution Max Engine
The RMCR concept motorcycle is powered by a 1,250cc Revolution Max liquid-cooled engine. In terms of performance, this engine is capable of producing more than 150 horsepower (hp).
A notable feature is that the engine acts as a structural part of the chassis, helping reduce weight while improving rigidity and performance.
Premium Components and Better Control
To ensure excellent ride control, Harley-Davidson has equipped the RMCR with top-quality premium components.
-
The bike features high-quality adjustable suspension for improved comfort and handling.
-
For strong stopping power, it uses high-performance brakes from Brembo, ensuring safety even at high speeds.
-
It also gets a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovič, which not only reduces weight but also delivers a powerful and distinctive sound.
Extensive Use of Carbon Fiber
To keep the motorcycle lightweight, Harley-Davidson has used carbon fiber components in several areas of the RMCR.
The design is inspired by the legendary racing motorcycle Harley-Davidson XR750. Additionally, the gold color finish adds a premium and striking visual appeal, making the bike look even more impressive.
Modern Technology With Retro Touch
The RMCR concept features two round TFT digital displays on the handlebar. These displays combine retro styling with modern technology.
Although they resemble classic analog gauges, they provide modern functions such as:
-
Navigation
-
Riding information
-
Essential bike data
What Makes This Bike Special?
Harley-Davidson has long been known for its large air-cooled cruiser engines. However, the RMCR concept shows that the company is now moving towards modern liquid-cooled engines and sportier motorcycle segments.
If this motorcycle eventually enters production, it could become a top choice for riders looking for a powerful engine combined with modern features and sporty design.
