The Hyundai Creta is currently one of the best-selling SUVs in its segment. However, the competition is set to intensify this year as several new SUVs are preparing to enter the market with the potential to challenge the Creta strongly.
The company is aware of the growing competition and is reportedly working on the next-generation Creta, which could arrive by the end of this year or early 2027. But if you cannot wait for the new Creta, several upcoming SUVs this year may directly rival the current model. Key contenders include the Skoda Kushaq facelift, new Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio-N facelift and Nissan Tekton.
Nissan Tekton
After Renault, Nissan is also preparing its own version of the Duster for the Indian market, likely to be called the Nissan Tekton. The SUV’s exterior is expected to draw inspiration from the Nissan Patrol.
The Tekton could launch in the coming months and will be based on the same platform as the Duster, meaning it will likely share many of its features.
