Hyundai Creta Summer Edition Launched: Hyundai Motor India has launched a new Summer Edition of its popular SUV, the Hyundai Creta, in India. Designed with enhanced comfort for hot weather conditions, this special edition is priced from ₹12.05 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹17.88 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Creta Summer Edition is available in EX, S(O), and S(O) Night variants, offering premium features even in lower trims. This edition focuses on improving comfort and convenience, especially during the summer season.

Exterior Design

The Hyundai Creta Summer Edition features a modern and bold design. It comes equipped with quad-beam LED headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED tail lamps. Dual-tone color options enhance its visual appeal, while the redesigned grille and bumper cladding give it a rugged stance.

It rides on 16- to 17-inch alloy wheels, adding to its road presence. The Summer Edition also gets exclusive styling elements such as special badging and new color options.

Interior and Features

Inside, the cabin feels premium and spacious, with soft-touch materials and a dual 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment system.

Comfort-focused features include ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a Bose premium sound system. The SUV offers ample space for five passengers and a boot capacity of 433 litres.

Additional features include a dashcam, smart key with push-button start, rear-view camera, wireless charger, connected car technology, and a 360-degree camera in higher variants. The air conditioning system is powerful, making it ideal for Indian summers.

Safety Features

The Creta Summer Edition comes with a strong safety package. Six airbags are standard across variants. Other features include ABS with EBD, ESC, hill-start assist, rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is also available in select variants. With a solid Global NCAP rating, the Creta continues to be a safe choice for families.

Engine and Mileage

The SUV offers multiple engine options, including:

  • 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115 PS)

  • 1.5-litre turbo-petrol

  • 1.5-litre diesel

Transmission choices include manual, CVT, DCT, and automatic options.

Fuel efficiency ranges between 17.4–18.4 km/l for petrol variants and 18–21.8 km/l for diesel variants (ARAI claimed). These engines deliver a balanced mix of performance and efficiency for both city and highway driving.
