JSW Motors Preparing Multiple SUV Launches in India
JSW Group is expanding its presence in the automotive sector through its new division, JSW Motors, and plans to introduce several new SUVs in India.
The company has already confirmed the upcoming launch of a plug-in hybrid SUV based on the Jetour T2 along with the iCar V23 electric SUV.
Recent developments suggest a third model may also join the lineup, based on the Jaecoo J5 platform.
New SUV Prototype Spotted Testing
A heavily camouflaged prototype believed to be based on the Jaecoo J5 platform was recently spotted undergoing road testing near Pune.
The original Jaecoo J5 model debuted globally in 2025 and is currently available in markets such as China and Indonesia.
Reports indicate that the version being tested in India could be the fully electric variant, aligning with JSW Motors’ long-term electrification strategy.
