Thar Facelift Expected Soon
The 3-door Mahindra Thar is expected to receive a facelift, likely to launch in the third quarter of this year. The updated model may take design inspiration from the larger Thar Roxx.
Expected updates include LED headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs and possibly larger 19-inch alloy wheels. Mechanically, the facelifted version is likely to retain the same engine and transmission options as the current model.
Update Planned for Thar Roxx
Mahindra is also working on an updated version of the Thar Roxx. While official details are yet to be announced, test mules have been spotted multiple times during road testing.
Reports suggest that the upcoming Thar Roxx could feature a new 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine. More details regarding its launch timeline are expected in the coming months.
