MG Majestor Set to Challenge Toyota Fortuner, Launch on April 20 | Bookings Open at ₹41,000

A powerful new SUV is set to shake up the Indian market. MG Motor India is all set to launch its flagship SUV, the MG Majestor, on April 20. Positioned above the MG Gloster, the Majestor will directly rival the highly popular Toyota Fortuner.

Bookings for the SUV have already begun, and interested buyers can reserve it by paying a token amount of ₹41,000.

Engine & Performance

The MG Majestor will be powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, borrowed from the Gloster.

  • Transmission: 8-speed automatic
  • Drivetrain: All-Wheel Drive (AWD)

The SUV will also feature multiple terrain modes such as mud, sand, rock, and snow. Notably, it is expected to be the first in its segment to offer a triple differential lock, enhancing its off-road capabilities.

Additionally, the Majestor boasts a water-wading capacity of 810 mm, making it a strong contender for off-road enthusiasts.

This three-row SUV will be available in both 6- and 7-seater configurations and offer a premium cabin experience:
