Now the Pulsar will be even more powerful! The 350cc version of the NS400Z will be launched soon – find out what’s new and special
A new 350cc version of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is likely to be launched soon. The updated bike is also expected to feature turn-by-turn navigation. Here’s everything you need to know about its engine, features, and performance.
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto is once again gearing up to introduce a new motorcycle in the market. According to reports, the company may soon launch a revised 350cc version of the Pulsar NS400Z. While there has been no official confirmation yet, the bike has reportedly started reaching dealerships, indicating an imminent launch.
Engine Changes
The biggest update comes in the engine. The new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is expected to feature a 349.13cc engine, replacing the earlier 373cc unit.
This change has been made to align with Indian tax regulations, as motorcycles under 350cc attract lower taxes. As a result, the overall pricing could become more competitive.
However, the slight reduction in engine size also affects performance:
- Power: 40.6 PS (earlier 43 PS)
- Torque: 33.2 Nm (earlier 35 Nm)
Despite the minor drop, the bike still offers strong performance for its segment. It will continue to feature:
- 6-speed gearbox
- Slipper clutch
- Electronic throttle
Design and Features
In terms of design, the Pulsar NS400Z remains largely unchanged.
- Same aggressive styling and color options
- Minor change: removal of the “373cc” engine marking
Feature highlights include:
- 43mm USD front forks
- Dual-channel ABS
- Larger disc brakes
- Wider tyres
- Projector headlight
- Adjustable levers
- Fully digital instrument cluster
- Turn-by-turn navigation
Overall, the bike continues to offer a premium and sporty package.
Expected Launch Timeline
Bajaj has not officially revealed the launch date yet. However, with units already reaching showrooms, the launch is expected to happen very soon.
This updated version is likely to strengthen Bajaj’s position in the mid-capacity motorcycle segment.
