After years of waiting, the Renault Duster has finally made a comeback in India. The SUV is now available in its third-generation avatar. It is offered in five variants, including a special edition. Here, we take a closer look at the top-spec Iconic variant through details:
2026 Renault Duster Iconic: Exterior
Being the top model, the 2026 Renault Duster Iconic comes fully loaded. At the front, it gets auto LED headlights with a follow-me-home function, eyebrow-style LED DRLs, and bold ‘Duster’ badging on the grille. It also features a thick silver-finish skid plate, LED fog lamps (placed at both corners), and a wide air dam on the front bumper. A closer look reveals front parking sensors integrated into the bumper.
On the sides, the Duster Iconic gets black ORVMs with LED turn indicators, roof rails with a 50 kg load capacity, thick body cladding, grey garnish on the cladding, grey decals on the front doors, and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear door handles are mounted on the C-pillars.
At the rear, the Iconic variant features wraparound LED tail lamps connected by a light bar. It also gets a roof-mounted spoiler and a silver-finish skid plate on the bumper. Since it is the top model, it comes equipped with a rear wiper, washer, and defogger.
2026 Renault Duster Iconic: Cabin
Renault has given the Duster Iconic a grey and sage green cabin theme, with silver accents around the dashboard, door panels, and centre console. The dashboard also features a carbon-fibre finish on the co-driver’s side.
The cabin comes with sage green leatherette upholstery with contrasting yellow stitching, which is also seen on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, dashboard, and door panels.
Other highlights include sun visors with vanity mirrors and illumination for the front passenger, two cup holders, a front sliding armrest (with cooled storage in DCT variants), a rear centre armrest, and adjustable headrests for all passengers.
2026 Renault Duster Iconic: Features & Safety
The new Duster Iconic is packed with features. Its list includes dual-zone climate control, 6-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
It also gets a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display, wireless phone charging, paddle shifters (DCT only), and a PM 2.5 air filter.
For safety, the Iconic variant is equipped with six airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a 360-degree camera, front, side, and rear parking sensors, and Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
2026 Renault Duster Iconic: Engine Options
Renault currently offers only one engine option in the top-spec Iconic variant. Its specifications are as follows:

Lower variants of the Duster also get a smaller 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 100 PS, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Renault has also announced that it will soon introduce a 1.8-litre naturally aspirated engine with a strong hybrid setup in the SUV.
2026 Renault Duster Iconic: Price & Rivals
The price of the 2026 Renault Duster Iconic ranges between ₹16.99 lakh and ₹18.49 lakh. To keep pricing competitive, the base variant starts at ₹10.49 lakh.
The new Renault Duster competes with the second-generation Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, Maruti Vitara (Victoris), Tata Curvv, Skoda Kushaq facelift, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, and Citroen Basalt.
