The Burgman Street EX is powered by a 124cc, all-aluminium, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine producing 8.6 PS at 6,500 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It uses Suzuki’s Eco Performance Alpha (SEP-α) technology alongside a fuel injection system for improved efficiency and smooth performance.

The scooter also comes with an Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) system, which automatically shuts off the engine when stationary in traffic and restarts it when the throttle is engaged. This works in conjunction with the Suzuki Easy Start System and a silent starter motor, ensuring seamless starts.
