After a month of real-world usage, it’s clear this car is built for those who want to drive more while spending less.
Design and Interior
The Altroz iCNG already had a stylish design, and the facelift has made it even more modern. Flush door handles and subtle styling updates give it a premium appeal, though they may take some time to get used to.
Inside, the cabin feels clean and upmarket. The updated steering wheel, larger touchscreen, and improved material quality enhance the experience. Features like ambient lighting, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and climate control add to its premium feel. However, the absence of ventilated seats is noticeable. Rear seat space is decent, but seating three passengers at the back can feel slightly cramped.
Driving and Performance
The Altroz iCNG is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which produces slightly lower power in CNG mode. However, for daily city driving, performance is adequate and smooth.

The Tata Altroz iCNG starts at just over ₹7 lakh, while the top variant crosses ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, it offers a solid mix of design, features, and fuel savings.
The lack of an automatic gearbox might be a drawback for some buyers, but overall, it remains a reliable and value-for-money option in the CNG segment.
