Help in Difficult Times: Tesla Makes Fast Charging Free in the UAE and Gulf States
Tesla has announced it will temporarily offer free fast charging at its charging stations in the UAE and some GCC countries to support electric vehicle users in the region.
The announcement was made through Tesla Charging’s official X account. The post confirmed that customers can use the Supercharger network free of charge for a limited time.
The initiative covers numerous locations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, with the UAE accounting for the largest share of participating stations. These include key urban centers such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, as well as intercity and highway stations.
Last month, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that “Tesla’s standard policy is to make charging at Supercharger stations free during difficult times.”
