Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded 19.78% YoY growth, selling 34,034 units in February 2026. Strong performance in both domestic sales and exports.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor delivered a strong sales performance in February 2026. The company sold a total of 34,034 units this month, a 19.78% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to 28,414 units sold in February 2025. This total includes 30,737 units in the domestic market and 3,297 units exported.

Good Growth in Domestic Sales

The company recorded solid growth in the domestic market. Domestic sales in February 2026 were 30,737 units, up 16.37% from 26,414 units in February 2025. The company thus achieved additional sales of 4,323 units.

On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, domestic volumes remained nearly stable. Sales in February increased marginally by 0.35% compared to 30,630 units in January 2026.

Sharp Export Growth

The company’s performance in the export segment was even more impressive. Exports grew 64.85% YoY to 3,297 units compared to 2,000 units in February 2025. Exports played a significant role in the overall sales growth.

Strong Start to CY 2026

In the first two months of 2026 (January + February), the company sold a total of 67,914 units, up 17.53% compared to 57,785 units in the same period last year.

Domestic Sales: Up 16.69% to 61,367 units

Exports: Up 26.07% to 6,547 units

These figures indicate that the company has started the new calendar year on a positive note.

Company Response

Commenting on the sales performance, Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President (Sales-Service-Used Car Business), said that the February 2026 results reflect strong customer confidence in the brand’s quality, trust, and ownership experience.

He also noted that the company’s continued focus on delivering value-driven mobility solutions tailored to customer needs is reflecting the demand.

Urban Cruiser Hyryder Receives Good Response

According to the company, the recently introduced Tech Package for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is resonating with customers. The added advanced comfort and convenience features have enhanced the in-cabin experience.

Future Strategy

Toyota is preparing to further expand its product portfolio in the coming months. The company’s plans include an electric SUV like the Toyota bZ4X, the price of which is expected to be announced soon. This model could strengthen the company’s presence in India’s mass EV segment.

In addition, the next-generation Toyota Fortuner has been spotted testing in Thailand. The new model is expected to come with an updated design, improved technology, and a refined powertrain, further strengthening the company’s hold in the premium SUV segment.
