The revived Volga has unveiled a new model — the Volga K40 mid-size crossover. The manufacturer states that the vehicle is built on a modern platform and offers a wide range of features designed to enhance driver and passenger comfort.
On the outside, the K40 follows the brand’s latest design language, featuring slim LED headlights, a large front grille, and strong body lines. The crossover stands out with its extended wheelbase and muscular silhouette, which contribute to improved cabin space and a larger trunk.

Inside, the dashboard is ergonomically designed, with all key controls easily accessible. The feature list includes a panoramic sunroof, climate control, heated and ventilated seats, and a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
The Volga K40 will be available with two turbocharged engine options. The base variant comes with a 1.5-liter engine producing 147 horsepower, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. A more powerful 2.0-liter engine delivers 200 horsepower and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive. The vehicle also offers sufficient ground clearance, making it suitable for both city and light off-road use.
In terms of safety, the crossover is equipped with both active and passive systems, including a 360-degree camera setup, driver assistance features, and six airbags.
Sales of the Volga K40 are expected to begin in the summer of 2026. Pricing details have not yet been announced.
