Volvo Cars has rolled out a fresh set of updates for the Euro-spec Volvo EX30, adding a new entry-level powertrain, enhanced tech features, and updated interior options. Some of the improvements will also reach existing owners via over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
The revised lineup now includes a 110kW single-motor variant paired with a 51kWh battery, delivering a claimed WLTP range of up to 339km. Buyers looking for extended range can opt for the 69kWh battery version, which offers up to 476km on a single charge.
Among the key upgrades is Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability. The EX30 is now hardware-ready to power external devices such as e-bikes, tools, or camping gear using an optional adapter. Volvo plans to activate this feature in select markets through future OTA updates.
The company has also refreshed the user interface with a redesigned settings layout and a customisable content bar for easier access. Additionally, two new interior themes — Harvest and Black — have been introduced, featuring recycled materials and updated trim elements. Availability of these updates will vary by market.
