Yamaha XSR155 Metallic Black launched, price increased by ₹1.58 lakh — other colors also become more expensive

Strengthening the modern-retro bike segment in India, India Yamaha Motor has launched a new Metallic Black color option for the Yamaha XSR155. The ex-showroom price of this new shade is ₹1,58,990 in Delhi.

Interestingly, the company has not only introduced a new color, but has also revised the prices of existing color variants less than three months after its launch. This clearly indicates that Yamaha wants to further position this bike as premium.

Why the new Metallic Black is special

The Metallic Black shade further enhances the XSR155’s retro-inspired design. The golden USD front forks create a strong contrast with the dark body color, giving it a premium road presence.

With a muscular fuel tank, minimal bodywork and classic styling, this new variant is specifically targeted at youngsters who want a sporty feel with a retro look.

New prices of Yamaha XSR155

The XSR155 is available in India in a single variant with multiple colour options. Following the latest update, prices now range from ₹1.50 lakh to ₹1.59 lakh (ex-showroom) .

Updated price breakup:

  • Yamaha Blue: ₹1.50 lakh (cheapest)

  • Red: ₹1.53 lakh

  • Silver: ₹1.57 lakh

  • Metallic Black: ₹1.58 लाख

  • Green/Bronze & White Dual Tone: ₹1.59 lakh (most expensive, hiked by ₹9,000)

The XSR155 is built on the same platform that underpins the Yamaha R15 and Yamaha MT-15 .
