Honda India Foundation donates 50 customized Honda CB350 bikes to UP Police Quick Response Team to improve road safety under the Sadak Sahayak project.

UP Police Receives 50 Customized Honda CB350 Bikes for Quick Response Team

Uttar Pradesh Police will soon strengthen its emergency response system as Honda India Foundation has donated 50 specially customized Honda CB350 motorcycles to the state’s Quick Response Team (QRT).

The bikes were handed over to Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, during a ceremony at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow.

This initiative is part of Honda’s “Sadak Sahayak: Safe Route, Safe Life” project, aimed at improving road safety and enabling faster response during emergencies.

Goal: Collision-Free Society by 2050

Through this initiative, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is working toward its global vision of achieving a collision-free society by 2050.

Road accidents involving two-wheelers remain a major concern in India, with thousands of fatalities reported every year. By providing these motorcycles to the police, Honda aims to help improve emergency response times and road safety enforcement.

Features of the Customized Honda CB350

The specially modified Honda CB350 motorcycles have been equipped with several features designed specifically for police operations.

Key Features

  • Public Address (PA) system to communicate with the public

  • Siren for emergency alerts

  • Rotating flashers and blinkers for better visibility

  • Side and rear storage boxes for carrying equipment

  • Two Honda safety helmets with each bike

These additions essentially turn the motorcycles into mobile mini-control units for the Quick Response Team.

Why Two-Wheelers Are Useful for Police

Quick Response Teams often need to reach accident sites or emergency locations quickly, especially in crowded urban areas and narrow streets where larger vehicles may face difficulty.

Motorcycles like the Honda CB350 allow officers to navigate traffic easily and reach critical locations faster, helping them protect lives and property.

Before this initiative in Uttar Pradesh, Honda had already supplied over 300 QRT motorcycles in states such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, and Karnataka.

Price in India

The ex-showroom price of the Honda CB350 starts at around ₹1,92,435 in the Indian market.
