Bajaj Pulsar Becomes India’s No.1 Selling Motorcycle in Jan 2026: Check Top Models List

Bajaj Pulsar tops model-wise sales in January 2026 with 67,081 units sold. See sales figures of Platina, Chetak, Pulsar 150, NS400Z, and other Bajaj bikes.

Two-wheeler giant Bajaj Auto continues to dominate the Indian market. In January 2026, the iconic Bajaj Pulsar once again emerged as the company’s No.1 selling motorcycle in model-wise sales.

The Pulsar range attracted 67,081 new buyers last month, registering an impressive 11% year-on-year growth compared to 60,640 units in January 2025.

Let’s look at how other Bajaj models performed.

Chetak Electric sees strong growth

The Bajaj Platina secured the second position with 33,520 units sold, marking 23% YoY growth.

In third place, the Bajaj Pulsar 160 and 200 range recorded 29,048 units, posting a sharp 76% annual growth.

The electric scooter Bajaj Chetak stood fourth with 28,216 units, achieving 34% YoY growth, highlighting rising EV demand.

Mid-segment models performance

  • Bajaj Pulsar 150 — 23,174 units (↑5%)

  • Bajaj Pulsar 220 — 9,398 units (↑126%)

  • Bajaj CT 100 — 5,018 units (↑4%)

These numbers show steady demand in the commuter and sporty commuter segments.

Lower-volume but fast-growing models

  • Bajaj Freedom — 1,157 units (↑14%)

  • Bajaj Avenger 220 — 108 units (↑151%)

  • Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z — 899 units (↑44%)

Sales of other Bajaj motorcycles

Additional models also contributed to overall volumes:

  • Bajaj Dominar 250 — 813 units

  • Bajaj Dominar 400 — 569 units

  • Bajaj Avenger 180 — 432 units

  • KTM Duke 200 — 4,251 units

  • KTM Duke 250 — 4,163 units

  • KTM Duke 390 — 1,154 units

  • Husqvarna motorcycles — 34 units

  • Triumph Speed 400 — 4,793 units


With strong demand across commuter, sporty, and electric segments, Bajaj Auto continues its solid run in 2026—led once again by the ever-popular Pulsar lineup.
