Ola Electric has announced a significant price reduction for its flagship electric motorcycle, the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh variant. The company has slashed the price by ₹60,000, bringing the ex-showroom cost down from ₹1,89,999 to just ₹1,29,999.
With this price drop, the high-performance electric bike is now cheaper than the Apple iPhone 17 Pro, which is priced at around ₹1.35 lakh, making it an extremely attractive option for EV buyers in India.

The company has announced that the first purchase window for the Ola Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh will open on April 3 from 6 PM to 9 PM. However, this discounted price is available for a limited number of units, so interested buyers will need to act quickly.
Why the Price Was Reduced
According to Ola Electric, the price reduction has been made possible due to increased production of its in-house 4680 Bharat cells at its Gigafactory. With local battery manufacturing scaling up, the company has managed to lower input costs and is passing the benefit on to customers.
The brand also revealed that demand for its electric motorcycles has surged nearly five times following the launch of its #EndICEAge campaign, further strengthening its push in the EV segment.
