Yamaha Motor India has released its January 2026 sales breakdown, and one scooter has clearly stolen the spotlight. The company posted strong domestic sales of 64,299 units, registering a 15.76% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 55,545 units sold in January 2025.

On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, Yamaha’s sales rose 17.09% from 54,914 units in December 2025, indicating a solid start to the new year.

The Yamaha MT-15 followed with 11,081 units and a 17.23% share. While YoY growth was modest at 4.14%, the model saw a sharp 151.67% MoM jump due to a low December base.
