Mercedes-Benz Unveils Electric C-Class with 762 km Range and Ultra-Fast Charging
Mercedes-Benz has introduced the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Electric, combining performance, luxury, and advanced technology. This all-electric sedan builds on the legacy of the popular ICE-powered C-Class and takes it to the next level.
With a sporty design and premium features, the electric C-Class is expected to compete with rivals from BMW and Tesla. It offers an impressive driving range of up to 762 km (WLTP) and can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
Up to 325 km Range in Just 10 Minutes
The electric C-Class is powered by a 94 kWh battery pack. According to the company, it delivers a range of up to 762 km on a single charge.
The C 400 4MATIC variant produces 360 kW (483 hp) and supports ultra-fast DC charging of up to 330 kW. This enables the car to gain up to 325 km of range in just 10 minutes under WLTP conditions.

Advanced Engineering and Driving Dynamics
The sedan features a two-speed transmission mounted on the rear axle, enhancing both efficiency and performance.
It also comes with rear-axle steering, reducing the turning circle to 11.2 meters for better maneuverability. Additionally, the air suspension with adaptive damping ensures a smooth and comfortable ride.
In terms of practicality, the car offers 470 litres of boot space along with an additional 101-litre front trunk (frunk).
Futuristic Exterior Design
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Electric retains a design language similar to its ICE counterpart but with modern EV styling elements. It features a coupe-like silhouette, sloping roofline, and fastback-style rear.
At the front, the sedan gets a large illuminated grille panel with the iconic Mercedes star logo. The LED headlights are inspired by the Mercedes-Benz GLC EV and include advanced lighting functions.
Like models such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Mercedes-Benz CLA EV, the car features signature star-shaped DRLs. At the rear, it sports round, star-patterned LED taillights and a sleek design.
Premium Interior with Hyperscreen
Inside, the 2026 C-Class EV comes equipped with a massive 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen that spans the entire dashboard.
Other key features include:
- Panoramic sunroof
- Ambient lighting
- Multi-zone climate control
- Electrically adjustable seats with memory, ventilation, and massage functions
For safety, the sedan is equipped with 27 cameras and radar-based sensors supporting advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). It also comes with up to 11 airbags, including a front-center airbag as standard.
