Ford has opened pre-orders for the most powerful Mustang yet — the Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC.
This new high-performance version will be available to customers starting this summer, featuring a 795 hp V8 engine, track-tuned suspension, and an optional carbon fiber package.
The Mustang Dark Horse SC is powered by a hand-built 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that produces 795 horsepower and 660 lb-ft (895 Nm) of torque, making it the most powerful Dark Horse model ever created.
To handle this significant power increase, the car is equipped with a track-focused Variable Traction Control system and the latest generation of MagneRide dampers. Engineers have also enhanced the aerodynamics and upgraded the cooling system to perform under extreme track conditions.
An optional Track Pack is available for enthusiasts seeking maximum performance. It focuses on weight reduction and sharper handling, adding 20-inch carbon fiber wheels, rear seat delete, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes.
The new Mustang Dark Horse SC is positioned as the most track-focused and extreme version of the iconic Mustang platform in the current lineup.
