Toyota is gearing up for a major product push in India, with four new models lined up across SUV, pickup, and electric segments. The upcoming lineup includes the next-generation Toyota Fortuner, the new Toyota Hilux, a 7-seater version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and the all-electric Toyota Urban Cruiser eBella.
Urban Cruiser Hyryder 7-Seater
Toyota is preparing a three-row version of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, aimed at family buyers. Expected to launch during the festive season, the SUV will feature a longer body with an extended rear overhang. It will likely retain the current powertrain options, including a 1.5L mild-hybrid petrol engine (103 bhp) and a strong hybrid setup producing 116 bhp. An all-wheel-drive option is also expected. Pricing could range between ₹16 lakh and ₹24 lakh.
New-Generation Fortuner
The next-gen Toyota Fortuner is expected to debut globally in mid-2026, with India launch by year-end. Built on an updated IMV ladder-frame platform, it will share its underpinnings with the new Hilux. Design upgrades include sharper LED headlights, a larger grille, and connected rear lighting. Inside, the SUV is expected to feature dual 12.3-inch displays, ADAS, OTA updates, and enhanced connectivity. Powertrain options may include existing engines along with a new 48V mild-hybrid diesel.
New-Generation Hilux
The updated Toyota Hilux will also arrive in India by late 2026. Based on the improved IMV platform, it will get a refreshed design with a bold grille, LED lighting, skid plates, and a redesigned interior focused on comfort. It will continue with the 2.8L diesel engine producing 204 hp and 500 Nm, paired with improved driving dynamics.
Urban Cruiser eBella (Electric SUV)
The Toyota Urban Cruiser eBella will mark Toyota’s expansion into the mass EV segment in India. Expected to launch soon, it will be offered in three variants and two battery options—49 kWh and 61 kWh—paired with a front-mounted electric motor. The SUV is projected to deliver a range of up to 543 km. Pricing is expected between ₹16 lakh and ₹20 lakh, making it a competitive electric offering.
