Ducati India has officially teased the highly anticipated Ducati Desmo 450 MX, signaling that the brand’s first production motocross motorcycle could soon enter the Indian market. The launch is expected to take place by the end of March 2026, according to early indications from the company’s social media teaser.
Ducati Desmo 450 MX: What We Know So Far
As the name suggests, the Desmo 450 MX is powered by a 450cc single-cylinder engine featuring Ducati’s signature Desmodromic valve system. This is the same technology that underpins many of the brand’s high-performance motorcycles.
Notably, the bike is derived from Ducati’s factory motocross machine that competed in the 2024 Italian Motocross Championship, marking the company’s serious entry into the global off-road racing segment.

Key design highlights include:
-
Signature motocross-style front beak
