Changan Automobile Launches Deepal G318 in Russia
Chinese automaker Changan Automobile has officially announced the start of sales for the Deepal G318 in the Russian market. The announcement was made on March 4, 2026, marking the debut of the Deepal sub-brand in the country.
The model will be sold through dealerships under the Changan Deepal brand name and represents the first Deepal product introduced in Russia.
Local Production at Avtotor Plant
The Deepal G318 is being assembled at the Avtotor factory located in Kaliningrad.
Currently, the SUV is produced using Complete Knock-Down (CKD) assembly technology. However, Changan plans to expand localization in the future by adding:
