JSW MG Motor India has increased the prices of its premium electric cars, the MG M9 and MG Cyberster, due to rising input costs.
Following the revision, the MG M9 is now priced at ₹75.90 lakh (ex-showroom), marking a significant ₹5 lakh increase. Meanwhile, the MG Cyberster has become costlier by ₹2.50 lakh and now retails at ₹77.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This price hike is part of the company’s broader revision across its lineup from April 2026.
MG M9: Luxury Electric MPV
The MG M9 is positioned as a premium electric MPV and is currently offered in a single variant, with no direct electric rival in India. It is powered by a 90 kWh battery pack, delivering an ARAI-claimed range of up to 548 km on a single charge.
The M9 focuses strongly on comfort and luxury, offering:
- 7-seat configuration
- Ventilated and massaging seats
- Dual-pane sunroof
- 13-speaker premium sound system
- Level 2 ADAS and advanced safety features
It serves as a luxury alternative to models like the Kia Carnival, though at a higher price point.
MG Cyberster: Performance Electric Roadster
The MG Cyberster is designed for buyers seeking high performance in an electric vehicle. It is available in a single all-wheel-drive variant featuring a dual-motor setup.

- Torque: 725 Nm
- 0–100 km/h: 3.2 seconds
The roadster is equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of up to 580 km on a single charge.
Both the MG M9 and Cyberster are sold exclusively through MG Select dealerships, reinforcing their premium positioning in the Indian market.
