Mercedes-Benz has previewed the “space-age” interior of its upcoming electric C-Class, and the direction is clear: a heavy push toward full digital integration and premium in-cabin tech.
At the center of the cabin is the massive MBUX Hyperscreen, a 39.1-inch curved display that spans nearly the entire dashboard. It merges the instrument cluster, infotainment, and passenger display into a single seamless unit, reinforcing Mercedes’ strategy of minimizing physical controls. That said, the brand has deliberately retained separate zones for essential functions like climate and audio—likely a usability safeguard against fully touch-dependent interfaces.

Beyond screens, Mercedes is emphasizing comfort and perceived luxury. The redesigned seats include full-length heating, ventilation, and massage functions, along with adjustable lumbar support—features typically reserved for higher segments. In upper trims, the cabin is further elevated with a Burmester sound system, now enhanced with in-seat speakers and more immersive ambient lighting.
Other notable upgrades include a panoramic roof with electrochromic dimming and an improved climate system designed to heat the cabin more efficiently in colder conditions—an important optimization for EVs where thermal management impacts range.
The full debut is scheduled for April 20, when Mercedes-Benz will disclose technical specifications, platform details, and performance metrics. Based on this preview, the electric C-Class is being positioned as a tech-forward luxury sedan, likely aiming to compete directly with premium EV rivals in both digital experience and comfort.
