Mercedes-Benz is set to announce the prices of its new Mercedes-Benz CLA BEV in India tomorrow. The model, which was unveiled last month, will be offered in two variants with different battery options and multiple colour choices. Customer deliveries are also expected to begin soon.

The 2026 CLA BEV will come with two battery options — 58 kWh and 85.5 kWh — available in CLA 200 Standard and CLA 250+ Long Range variants. The company claims a driving range of up to 542 km for the 200 Standard and 792 km for the 250+ variant (WLTP).

Built on an advanced 800V architecture, the electric sedan supports ultra-fast charging. Using a 240 kW DC fast charger, it can add up to 400 km of range in just 20 minutes.

Features, Colours & Interior Highlights

The new CLA BEV will be available in five exterior colours: Polar White, Cosmic Black, Clear Blue, Alpine Grey, and Patagonia Red.

In terms of features, the electric sedan is equipped with Level 2 ADAS, front seats with a massage function, wireless charging, six Type-C charging ports, an illuminated grille, LED headlights, and connected LED taillights. It also gets 18-inch AMG-spec alloy wheels and flush door handles.

Inside, the car features a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, and the latest MB.OS.

Mercedes-Benz Electric C-Class

Alongside the CLA, Mercedes-Benz has also introduced its new electric Mercedes-Benz C-Class, positioning it as a strong rival to premium EVs from BMW and Tesla.

This performance-focused electric sedan can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. It is powered by a 94 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of up to 762 km (WLTP).

The C 400 4MATIC variant produces 360 kW (483 hp) and supports DC fast charging up to 330 kW. Under WLTP conditions, it can gain up to 325 km of range in just 10 minutes of charging.

The sedan features a two-speed transmission on the rear axle, rear-axle steering (reducing the turning circle to 11.2 meters), and air suspension with adaptive damping for enhanced ride comfort.

In terms of practicality, the electric C-Class offers 470 liters of boot space along with an additional 101-liter front trunk (frunk).
