Volkswagen officially unveiled the facelifted Taigun on April 9, 2026, and announced its pricing shortly after. The SUV now looks more modern and feature-rich, making it a strong contender in the midsize SUV segment.

It competes with rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, and Maruti Grand Vitara.

What’s New in the 2026 Taigun?

The updated Taigun gets a refreshed exterior design. The front features a slimmer grille, new LED headlights, and an updated illuminated logo. At the rear, it now comes with a connected light bar and a redesigned bumper.

One of the most significant additions is the panoramic sunroof, addressing a long-standing demand from customers and enhancing the premium appeal of the cabin.
