Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the all-new 2027 Mercedes-Benz EQS, bringing major upgrades in range, charging technology, and advanced features.

The biggest highlight of the updated EQS is its impressive driving range of up to 926 km (WLTP), which is around 13% higher than the previous model.

800V Architecture and Fast Charging

One of the most significant upgrades is the shift to an 800-volt architecture, enabling ultra-fast charging.

The EQS now supports DC fast charging up to 350 kW, allowing it to gain up to 320 km of range in just 10 minutes under ideal conditions.

Additionally, the battery capacity has been increased, and overall efficiency has improved благодаря new materials and advanced battery chemistry.

Advanced Technology and MB.OS

For the first time, the EQS features steer-by-wire technology, eliminating the traditional mechanical link between the steering wheel and wheels.

The model also introduces the new MB.OS operating system, which integrates all vehicle functions and supports over-the-air (OTA) updates.

The upgraded MBUX infotainment system now includes:

  • Advanced AI capabilities
  • Cloud-based connectivity
  • Improved user interface

Additional Features and Enhancements

The updated EQS comes with several other improvements:

  • Enhanced regenerative braking (recuperation)
  • Advanced micro-LED lighting system
  • Improved air suspension with predictive tuning
  • Bidirectional charging (V2G and V2H support)

Comfort and Pricing

New comfort features include HEPA air filtration and heated seat belts, enhancing passenger experience.

The updated EQS is now available for order in Germany, with prices starting at approximately €94,000.
